Attempted the online process 3 times, IE, Chrome and then on Mac with Safari. Nothing worked, getting the error message after the affidavits. Called the regulatory services number and get put on hold, 20 minutes is the longest I could hold so far with nothing. I once inadvertently pushed the number for private investigators, of course a human answers that immediately but cannot help.

So...how long is a reasonable amount of time to hold? 6-8 hours?? Does anyone actually work there?

Now I tried to use the email contact form for regulatory services...and when you click "submit" it also comes back with an error...

What a joke.

I just waited on hold for 20 minutes to hear the line finally start to ring.....and ring....and ring. It then went to a "your call can not be completed as dialed" recording....and hung up!! :banghead:

Their website is still down, no one can do instructor renewals, online address changes or lost license replacements. It's been down for 2 weeks+. you're wasting your time calling today. Also, they have not yet put the online exam/video thing up yet either.

I just heard the fix on the website will happen overnight Friday night (or Saturday am). I was told to try the site Saturday or after. Saturday 10/24/15.

OK, mine finally went through and I was trying to send it to DPS. My scanner scanned in BMP format and the State only accepts PDF. How do I change the BMP to PDF?

Glad someone was able to get through yesterday. However, today I am getting an error message simply trying to go to the link. Guess I will keep trying....... :banghead:

Download and install a free utility, such as CutePDF Writer. It will install a software only PDF printer in your system (I'm assuming Windows). Open your BMP file and print to this new printer. It will give you a chance to create a filename and where you want to put it.
