Post by flechero »

New Beltman 1.5" brown, double stitched belt, with internal stiffener. (internal stiffener is extremely thin, you don't even notice it) Pristine workmanship and a solid belt for casual, dress, EDC or even competition.

Belt Size: 40
Color: Brown
Holes: 7 holes - .75 inch apart
Buckle: Square Chrome
Options: Internal Stiffener
Tapered: No

I ordered this beautiful new belt before Christmas and sadly, I misjudged my year end weight gain! (and now that i don't run anymore, It's unlikely I will shrink back into it.) It's been tried on 1 time only.

list price is $94... your price $70, delivered to the lower 48, by USPS. Paypal or USPS Money Order preferred. (or cash for a local meet in the Temple area)

It's not tool large, it's too small with iwb holsters and gear... and I don't do OWB. (I could wear it but I'm out to the end holes)I'm a 38ish pant... but don't go by that- measure yours this way, from Beltman's site:

Nice belt! :thumbs2: Unfortunately, it's too big for me.
My size would be a 36 from the end of my buckle to hole I use with IWB.

I have no idea why but there seems to be 2 ways to measure a belt. Some makers want you to measure from the end of the buckle, and some want you to measure from the end of the belt where it connects to the buckle. It sure would be easier if there was just one standard.

I am actually in need of a new belt, but I need to go smaller than my current 38. It turns out that illness is a great way to lose weight.

I have a magpull el original Texas belt in 42. I bought the wrong size. I have a beltman in 39 and when I wear IWB I’m on the last or second to last hole. So i counted the holes i needed to be at and added to it and bought the magpull. Then i later tried it and I’m on the last hole and its not tight enough. A difference in measuring. One goes from end of buckle and other from end of leather on belt. I’ve worn this belt maybe a few times at best. Would you be interested in a trade?

That is a beautiful belt !!!
internal stiffener is extremely thin
I discovered the same thing with two "steel" internal stiffener belts of both leather thickness options I believe the brands are bigfoot/allen (still very good thick belts, about half the price, with better roller-buckles) but neither was as supportive as my Velcro Lined | Kydex Reinforced Contour | Comp-Tac Belt with, I believe it is kydex inside that I wore since 2008 (but the steel belted thick ones with roller buckles are cheaper, just not quite as supportive, but close)

I'm anxious to see what happens at the courthouse metal detector with the steel insert reinforced belts ...

Not right now, thanks for the offer though. I'm going to let my weight stabilize for a month or so and see what size I really need before replacing it. (I have other gunbelts to wear in the interim)

Hope you find another option!
