CHL RENEWAL

I have paid on line for the app and set up a class. I noticed on the app info it stated they will try to use your old finger prints and phone's. Is is best to go ahead and get the new finger prints and send in an updated photo? My old finger prints were the ink kind.

I just took the renewal class last Saturday and the instructor said not to worry about sending in new prints or photos. I believe he would have known even if some small percentage of renewals from his classes were getting DPS requests for updates...he would have warned us about it.
Edited to add: I will find out soon...my fingerprints and photos are from 1996!
Edited again to add: Ooops! I lied...I was just reminded that I let my license expire and had to re-submit photos and fingerprints for the license I have now that expires next month, so they're not that old.
