As rstchl and loktite noted, it seems that if the first line is anything but text there is no preview.

Yes, there is. He's a spammer. He's done that in all 7 of his posts. The dead giveaway was when he posted in charle's "don't be a jerk" thread as if he were a moderator.

Here's his methodology..... he copies and pastes an earlier post in a thread, as he did here with mine:
