Sold -S&W Chiefs Special - Sugar Land

#1

Post by PBratton »

FOR SALE: Po’ Boy’s “Gun Show Gem” …He purchased this for his collection at a GRB show a few years ago just after S&W decided to cease production of the model in 2006…much to the chagrin of a small, but devoted fanbase of CS45 owners who came to love the natural “point-and-shoot” balance of this big-bore, sub-compact pistol.

The hard-to-find S&W “Chief’s Special” edition in .45 ACP utilizes a proprietary lightweight alloy to make for a power-packed and versatile single-stack CCW option…should the situation dictate such requirements.

CONDITION: VG-Exc, 100-rds test fired, disassembled, cleaned, and safe-kept as a collectible.

If you like .45s, you should give this lil gem a look see... I daily carried one of these for years... very natural point and click for me, very comfy to shoot, those fat Hogue grips really soak up the recoil... so some yeas ago I went to the dark side and changed to striker fired plastic wonders... went through several and ending up with an XDs 45 which is about the same outline dimensions as this but a bit wider in the slide and grip... ok so on,my 6’4” 320 pound frame...who is going to notice if my pistol is 1/2 an inch wider.... the unforgiving hard plastic cheese grater grips on the plastic wonders are just plain unpleasant to shoot so I don’t hit what I am aiming at nearly as well as with that little cs45... I just bought 2 of these critters elsewhere and you may see my XD guns on here before long....
It is useless for the Sheep to circulate petitions calling for universal vegetarianism while the Wolves hold a different opinion.
