I bought a nice one from another forum member a few years back and it's been a great rifle.

BTW, your link says K32.

It's too bad that the stock has been sporterized, if it was still original I would jump on it. Does it still have the name tag of who it was originally issued to under the metal butt plate?

Agree, these are great rifles. I have one that I bought in 1968 at age 16, from Surplus City in Clovis, NM. Paid $35 for it. A year or so later, I sporterized it. Had the barrel shortened about 5 or 6 inches (that sucker was long!), and typical hunting rifle sights put on it. Wish that I had left it original... Mine was made in 1954. Matching serial numbers on barrel, receiver, magazine and butt plate. No name under butt plate that I ever found. Great shooting rifle. I've taken more deer with this single rifle with iron sights than all of my other rifles combined.

I keep looking for one in original condition on gunbroker, but when I see the asking prices, I decide I don't need another one that bad.
