I have migrated down from full size and now switch between two 3" Kimber's. A 2-tone Ultra-Carry II and a UC2 Raptor. Functionally, they are virtually identical. The only difference is the Raptor has an ambidextrous safety. The downsizing was mainly due to comfort in my car since the location of the seatbelt buckle is a little different than it was in my truck. Also, since downsizing I've adjusted the cant from straight up to slightly forward. This is also due to comfort when driving and with the shorter barrel length is less of an issue compared to drawing a forward canted full size pistol.
