Re: New TSRA Executive Director
Congratulations. Partly because I'm overdue and partly due to your example of leadership and involvement in supporting our rights, I just joined TSRA, 3 Year Membership.

Congratulations. "Executive Director of TSRA" will be one more credential I can add when commenting to others regarding your tireless endeavors in support of the rights of the citizens of this great state.
Best of luck. We will keep you and your family in prayer as you take on yet another honorable task.

Re: New TSRA Executive Director
I am willing to bet there has been a recent surge in TSRA membership. Wonder what that could be attributed to?
BTW, I just figured out there was a "club or business" membership available on the TSRA website. (I'm a little slow) So, I signed up for that in addition to my regular membership.

Re: New TSRA Executive Director
Congratulations Mr. Cotton. I think you have your priorities in order and I welcome your leadership.
Radio and TV commercials may help get more members. It seems many people don't consider it a worthy cause unless they hear and/or see it in the media. Hunting TV shows would be a good place to start as well as WBAP since people listen to it here and on the internet. I am 120 or so miles west and it is the only talk radio station we can reliably get on AM or FM. 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM weekdays is the best bet. That does not relieve us of any responsibility to get new members but it does help expose many people to the need to join that may not otherwise consider it if it is just "Joe" trying to get them to give out money right as hunting season starts. Just a suggestion.
