Outstanding! And I have read several stories on other sites saying that lack of primers was one of the main stumbling blocks to increased ammo production. Nice to see that a Texas facility will be helping to alleviate some of that.

I don't want to count any chickens before they hatch, but MAN - am I looking forward to buying at least 10k primers :cheers2:

No idea, but I would doubt it. Probably under their own brand to wholesale and/or contracting out to the big brands.

Either way, it should loosen up primer availability if they can get this going.

Wasnt there a ammunition plant near Texarkana already , like Army ammunition plant?

Red River Army Ammunition Plant was shut down sometime around 2005 due to BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) It produced ammunition for the military.

Yep. Still, better than never. Who knows, the competition might even prod the current makers to get their butts moving and/or lower prices before next year.

The Red River and Lone Star munitions facilities were adjacent to each other.
