THX1138 was George Lucus' first film. THX the sound format was developed by George Lucus' movie company, for better sound quality, for one of the Star Wars movies.

It's simple enough and without any imagination what-so-ever...lol

After an almost 10 yr stint in the military I was in EMS for over 17 years and a Paramedic for 15 of them...Medic624 was my Paramedic number given to me when I first got my Paramedic cert. and is one of the things I am most proud of... Not only because of the accomplishment of obtaining it but all the memories and experiences that go along with it. :thumbs2:

Ooooh wow 10+17 and add a few more ...

Huh, am I REALLY 43??? When the heck did THAT happen??? "rlol" :smilelol5: "rlol"

Been riding since the AF in 1966, learned from a roomie at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey ... I love bikes, picked bikerbill for my email way back when ... had a bkrbill license plate when I lived in CA, a period I have mercifully forgotten ...

MEscobar: First initial and last name
rpls: Registered Professional Land Surveyor

I have been using this as my personal email address and user name on other forums since I was registered eight years ago. It is one of the things I am most proud of since I was one of the youngest (27 yrs old) to get registered.

Recently, I received the status of Licensed State Land Surveyor. I have been contemplating changing my handle to MEscobar_LSLS, but I don’t know if I want to open that can of worms, since I have been using the other for so long.

Decisions, decisions.

Little known statistics:
There are about 2700 practicing RPLSs in Texas.
The average age of an RPLS is about 55.
There are more RPLS over the age of 70 than younger than 40.
There are under 70 practicing LSLSs in Texas.
Texas is the only state in the Union that has LSLSs.

I worked in Saudi Arabia for quite a while and on the weekends we would ride motocross and enduro bikes in the sand dunes. Being new to motorcycles, I spent more time with my wheels in the air than on the ground, ergo, "Crash."

A Rook is a chess piece sometimes referred to as a castle. I travel the state and sometimes out of state to
play in chess tournaments. My secondary email address is RockingRook so I use it here and other places as my
"handle."

I've been a Technical Director at several places I've worked and for several events. TD is the shortened version. Dude was added cause I didn't like Guy and I think it was taken.

"Are you the Sound Guy??"

"Nope, I'm the TDDude!!"

HAH!! Bite your tounge. I've never worked on the Barney series. :fire :fire :fire

I did have a good friend that was the audio director back when Barney was a brand new show and was just starting to take off. Needless to say, he has some great behind the scenes Barney stories.
