Concealed Gun Survey

#1

Post by tony2481 »

I am sure there is a post on this already but I could not find it. I was just wondering what everyone uses as their PRIMARY every day carry gun? I am not asking for a list of every gun you own, but rather what you carry most frequently. Let's go!

Similar to this post (viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4427&hilit=pictures+of+your+edc), but your question is different enough to warrant a response.

I carry a 9mm Sig Sauer SP2022 with a +2 extension on the mag. This gives me 1 Hornady Critical Duty in the chamber, plus 17 more in the pipe right after it. I carry another 15-round backup magazine loaded with same.

OP, since you started this thread, what is yours?

XDm Compact 9mm. Soon to be a G26 gen 4 hopefully.

1)Treat firearms as if they are loaded. 2)Point the muzzle away from non-targets.
3)Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot. 4)Be sure of your target and backstop.

two Glock 26s,

IWB
one Primary Glock 26 has a Glock 19 magazine (15 round+3 mag...so it's 18 round mag+1 chambered=19)

Pocket
Other Backup Glock 26 with a Glock 26+3 mag (so it's 13 round mag+1 chambered=14)
One spare 20 round mag (Glock 17+3 mag)

+3 = PierceGrip PG-39

Sometimes I use a Keltec P11 with the 12 round mag so it's 12+1=13 instead of the backup Glock's 14

I alternate between two commander-sized and one government-sized 1911s 45 ACP.
My backup is a Sig P238.
