Anyone Here Use Brownells "Edge" Shipping Program?

For $49.95 you get free standard shipping for every order for a year. Of course it's not really free or they wouldn't charge $49.95, but it still sounds like a good deal.

Plus, if you want expedited shipping, they deeply discount it if you're in their Edge program.

I "think" this may be a great deal if you buy a lot of stuff from Brownells in a years time.

That being said, anyone here use it?

Yes, I realize, one would be more likely to order his gun stuff from Brownells alone with this shipping program...so this is a form of canny marketing, but I think maybe, a very good one for both parties.

I use it and I order from Brownells about once a month.

For me it has paid for itself on the first three orders. I like it. It is like Amazon Prime Shipping for gun stuff

Also, when new products come in, Edge Customers are the first to know about it.

Yeah, it's a very good deal even if you buy just a few times a year, especially on ammo.

No, because they've had a coupon code for free shipping for >$150 orders for several years now. I can usually wait on buying something cheap until I buy something else more expensive until I get the free shipping, and if I can't wait, I'd have to have this happen a couple times a year before Edge would save me money.

So, if I buy a gizmo and a gadget here and there, the "Edge" program looks like it would work for me.

Now, I have to see how much gun stuff I buy internet order in a year's time.

I do remember buying a few small items that cost less the shipping charge and found that supremely galling.

Your approach to shipping is something I wish I could do.

I just bought a Sopmod B-5 FDE Bravo stock from them and of course haven't yet signed up for the "Edge" program (paid $7.95 shipping) and absolutely couldn't wait for $150.0 worth of purchases to add up in order to take advantage of the free shipping.
