Wrangler Flex Waist Jeans

#1

Post by EastTexasRancher »

I came across these yesterday at WalMart. Made IWB carry a breeze without having baggy jeans.

Thought I would share.

Thanks

Duluth Trading Company used to carry a DUAL Right hand pocket pant where I carried my BACKUP Glock 26 in one Right Front pocket in Desantis Nemesis pocket holster

Duluth stopped selling that model pants,
These are about the same without a snap on the extra front pocket

I have a pair of the Duluth Casual Men's pants, but they are made out of a lightweight fabric better for summer wear, and they have that same zip-closed second front pocket on the right hand side. I also have the same thing in a pair of cargo shorts. Unfortunately for me, those extra pockets are on the right, and I'm a southpaw, so I use them more for holding a spare magazine, or anything I don't want to risk losing out of the main front pocket.

BTW, I noticed yesterday that Academy is carrying 5.11 pants now. But I'm going to have to check out those flex fit jeans at Walmart.

I found some Levis at Target that are similar. Slightly stretchy denim. I have a couple pairs and I like them a lot.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

I like Levi's 514 Motion Stretch. Their waistband has plenty of give.
I can manage comfortably with only one size up so they don't look baggy in the bottom.

Reminds me of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and Frank with his "stretchy pants".

Are the Wrangler's the OP mentioned for, ahem, older gentlemen?

Also known as Grandpa pants?

I'm quite the geezer myself, but there's a fashion line I have to draw as looking like a rest home escapee isn't my bag, mannnnnn...

One of the worst offenders for looking like a rest home escapee are those wearing Sansabelt slacks = UGH! However, I'll bet they could accommodate an IWB holster with great ease, but the trade off in ugly wouldn't be worth it.

I'm wearing these Wranglers right now. Real comfortable jeans. You might consider them grandpa jeans. I am a grandpa. I still have some 13MWZs but seldom wear them. I'm not into stylin'.

+1 on the makes it easier to pack IWB. Makes carrying more comfortable all the time, but a good gun belt as always the key.

I bought 2 pair last week, I got them for Fall and Winter, will get 2 more...
That elastic is very handy. I also buy the wrangler cargo shorts for summer, with elastic . Very comfortable and affordable, I have 7 of them.
