SIG sued for $10,000,000. Gun discharges by itself. :confused5

Nicely conflated by the lawyer.

"However, in the Loudoun case, the gun was not dropped, according to Troxell and to Vadnais’ court filings."

"As Vadnais began feeding her belt through the first tooth of the holster, her P320 fired one round and hit her right thigh, shattering her femur, according to court documents."

Not sure I understand what they mean here. Does "tooth" ring any bells for anybody? They mentioned the holster was made by Sig. Sig used to provide a free holster w/ the 320. However, it had zero retention. I've got one laying around somewhere. It was a cheap paddle holster, but again it was free.

Nobody in uniform would carry a gun w/ that holster on a duty belt. Maybe she was in plain clothes?

Be curious to see what Sig's response in the case.

I would call bull on it and take a wager that it will be dismissed, not settled.
