Captain can you elaborate on the saying please?

US Army Engineer history. The Corps of Engineers' oldest and most time honored insignia is the exclusive Essayons Button.

I am an artilleryman, but I took Basic Combat Training and Ft Leonard Wood, MO, and have had many good associations with the US Army Corps of Engineers over the years.
Awesome my dad was a captain in charge of the engineers that built the bridge over the Rhine River in wwII. HE never talked much about it. Thanks I learned something today being an old O311 Marine myself thank you for your service Sir
Side note my grandson is going to be a dad 22-9-18

Infantry (Army 11B) were always my favorite customers. They were the most appreciative!

Congrats on the grandchild! And thanks for your service. My younger brother retired from the Corps.
