Did Sig 365 fixed its problems?

Post by BCGlocker »

I am considering buying a Sig 365 but waiting for Sig to fix all the problems (striker breakage and trigger spring breakage; not so much on primer drag issue). Has anyone purchased a 365 lately and how was it?

I've sold over 80 w/ build dates of April or later. Majority of those were sold to shooters, agency range employees, etc. No reports of any issues to date. Mine was fussy not wanting want to lock back on empty, with the 12 rd mags, on initial break-in. I don't consider that an issue and it seems happier now.

I have two that have had zero problems. One of those has almost 600 rounds with only two FTF on the first fifty rounds.

I decided to make it my EDC except for Sundays when I carry a full size pistol.

I had a Sig (don't recall the model no. - it happened roughly 8 years or so ago) fall apart on me.

I do recall it was a 40 cal.

My point?

Other models have failures too.

No doubt all gun mfg's have guns that fail, but that soured me on Sigs.

Of course, I've had problems with the much vaunted Ruger also.
