Academy Stores Out of Stock on PMAG's

#1

Post by proudpirate »

So I've noticed something over the past few days during my travels to various Academy stores in the Austin area. Every store I went to was out of stock on PMAG's. Every store! Did some new legislation get introduced and people started grabbing PMAG's or are they just not selling them in store anymore? Are Californians making a trip to our glorious land of freedom to get their standard capacity magazines? Inquiring minds want to know.

Just me but I wouldn't be giving Academy any of my business.

No idea why Academy doesn't have PMAG's in stock. Plenty of other places (online) to find them that I would rather give my business to

Houston area stores have been low or out of stock on PMAGs for the past 2 months in my experience ... is not an Austin specific issue.

Same here in Corpus Christi. Not one on the racks. If I go to Cypress this weekend I’ll check if the one off 290 has any.

My apologies for the shameless plug as I work there but we have quite a few.

NW Houston, Hwy290 and FM1960 area. New store opening in the Humble area soon also!

Seriously, it's a very nice indoor range with great ventilation, great people, and fair prices on most everything! :thumbs2:

I haven't seen many in my local Academy. There is a definite run on magazines from the folks in CA getting what is probably a temporary reprieve of their standard capacity mag ban.

Plenty of them on their website. Free shipping with $25 order. Cheaper at other sources.

Does that include the ones I haven't even taken out of the package yet?

Ammo land has plenty. If you really need to stock up, they are $9.60 each, but you have to buy 100 of them.
