I want the 9mm model. I understand why they issued the .40 cal model next, but to me a .45 ACP model would be a lot more interesting than a .40 cal.
And a 10mm model would Trump them all (well at least to me since I’m a 10mm fan).

.40 cal makes sense, it just requires a few changes from 9mm. The 9mmor .40 would work better for me, than .45 because of the higher velocities and flatter ballistics.
Some people like Rugers, because of their Value. A lot of gun for the money. The PCC is a very good gun for the money. A pistol caliber carbine will never be a precision weapon anyway.

Good to see them back to producing pistol caliber carbines. The Model 44 they used to make in .44magnum was a great little "truck gun".
I hope these take off so that maybe in the future they'll produce one in either 10mm or 44 magnum or perhaps a whole line in various pistol calibers including my favorite the .41RM.
No worry about extra mags as these will all fit standard Glock and Ruger pistol magazines.

10mm is a great choice for sub guns and carbines. Near .41RM performance in a non rimmed case for better feeding from magazines.

Actually, I’m in partial agreement. While I would like to see a .45 version since I own several .45 pistols, I agree that 10mm would be a great choice, and a better one than .40 cal. A 10 mm carbine would make a competitive alternative to a .357 magnum lever action carbine.

Bash them as you wish and I have no dog in that hunt, but Hi-Point was very smart to offer their carbine in 380, 9mm, 10mm, .40 and .45. Ruger would do well to follow their lead and also make those calibers.... I think they would take a whole lot more of the market share in that arena....
I own both, the Ruger and the Hi-Point in 9mm.... And while I prefer the Ruger WAY more than the Hi-Point... I am also interested in getting a .45 caliber version as well... Fortunately I can wait unit Ruger decides on making one.....

Agree. I'm guessing that since the Glock 9mm and .40 cal share frames, the magazine adapter didn't need to change. To go to a .45, they would need to make a new magazine adapter for the Glock mags. 9mm to .40 was probably just a barrel swap.
