.50 cal ammo
I'd like to get hold of one round of .50 ammo to compare side by side with whatever other ammo. Anyone know of somewhere in the Houston area, as close to Clear Lake as possible would be convenient, that would sell just one round?

If all you want is a size comparison, why not just order a bottle opener made from a .50?

Or go to any good Army surplus store worth its salt. I'll bet they have dummy .50 cal they sell for novelties. I bought one for my grandson 2 years ago at Omaha Surplus in Ft.Worth. I think it cost $1.50.Pawpaw wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 8:50 pm If all you want is a size comparison, why not just order a bottle opener made from a .50?

I like $1.50 more than $10. I'll have to look into both options.

Well, I must have had a senior moment. I missed the price. It's $4.00.

Re: .50 cal ammo
I have plenty of those. And $4 is still better than $10.
