Sig Sauer P365

#1

Post by stash »

I saw a real live Sig P365 yesterday and could not believe how small it is and the number of rounds it packs. Looks and feels like a first class pistol. If I had the money and I could find one I would probably buy one. I am not affiliated with Sig.

In have had mine for a while. I made a thread somewhere on here talking about it. It is by far my favorite carry gun. Another forum member here just bought one and he sent me photos of a 15 round mag. I understand it wouldn't conceal, but as a spare it would be great.

I’m hesitant to go shoot one of the Sig 365’s. Everyone I know who has one raves about it. Last thing I need is to start buying Sig’s!

The 365 is my current EDC. Fits nicely in the pocket of my shorts during the summer months.

That depends on your definition of helping. If I were a Sig Sauer sales rep, I'd call it helping :)

If you are in the DFW area you can test drive mine. Then you will know for sure that you have to go buy one.
Seriously though you can shoot mine if you wish. Just shoot me a PM.

P365 on my wish list for several months. Lewisville Gun Show was a couple of weeks back and nearly walking distance from the house. One followed me home. Needed to grease the rails heavily as the lockup is tight and this bad boy needs a break-in period. Shoots to point of aim and small group size if I do my part. Makes my G43 look bad. Waiting for a holster and extending the break-in a few hundred more rounds before it replaces the G43. Don't breath a word about this to the 43, she would be really P.O.

Good to hear you like it! I had a p365 compact for a while and loved it, the trigger was so buttery smooth I shot really well with it because it was so smooth and predictable.

The 365 catches Glock with their trousers on the floor. I replaced my 43’s with a shield and not the shield with this. It’s the smaller and the same with as my shield and I get 3-4 rounds more than my shield depending on which mag i use. Right now I carry with the 10 round pinky extended mag and the 12 round as backup. Once I get my new mag pouch I will use the 15 round mag as back up. Then I’m up to the same capacity as my Glock 19. It will blow your mind at the range when using the 15 rounder. You just don’t ever think you will run out when holding a gun that size.

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago.

As others have noted, with the right holster it's a perfect pocket carry gun that doesn't compromise on caliber or round count. I have an Alabama Holsters pocket model on order.

My XDS would get the boot but it's in .45 and there are times when I prefer that caliber option for pocket carry.
