TRUGLO sights ugh
Ok I have heard how great TruGlo sights are... But they shoot low ie…. The front sight at 25 yards has a dot and the POI is center of that dot... so at 25 yards the front sight covers up the target... ugh

Re: TRUGLO sights ugh
If your speaking of Archery sights ive never liked truglo, used Trophy Ridge since they first came out. I still use the Bowtech Insanity- 80 lb draw but upgraded to a newer set-up of Trophy Ridge. 0.19 sights with a light for low light conditions they work great. Here's a link to the Great Amazon....
If speaking of gun sights please disregard this.

One of my biggest mistakes in life...Is Believing people will show me the same love I've shown them.

Yeah nope 380 EZ hehe
Re: TRUGLO sights ugh
Bobby,
Typically the front sight dot is used for closer distances to compensate for the height-over-bore for a point of aim / point of impact since the bullet's trajectory is still on the rising branch (ie, 3-15 yards), and the top of the front sight blade is used for 25 yards.

Re: TRUGLO sights ugh
Yep Mike I get that but TruGlo said otherwise. And I quote.
ll of our sights are optimized for a “combat style” 25-yard POI result. With the three dots in alignment, the front/center dot should be centered on the target. This is considered a “combat-style” sight picture.
Using this sight picture should result in a Point-of-Impact (POI) directly behind the front sight dot at 25 yards.

Never had a problem with TruGlo sights. My experience is limited to 1911s.
Perhaps your particular application is a bit different. I would like to believe they would work with you and resolve this issue.

Per Truglo. We don’t have any different height front sights. If you purchased from us we will refund if not contact your dealer.
