Compliment to Springfield Armory

#1

Post by flowrie »

I am in sales and try my best to provide great service to my company’s customers.
I also like to compliment a company that provides great customer service to me.
In this case, it is Springfield Armory. I have a 1911A1 that I traded for about 25 years ago.
It’s had work done to it, tuned up, trigger job, etc....
Took it to a action pistol match last Saturday. The plunger tube became loose and popped out.
Thankfully I had a spare 1911 with me and continued the match.
Looked for a new plunger tube on the internet but had trouble finding a parkerized tube.
So I emailed SA and they sent me one, free of charge. It arrived today and I just finished staking it.
That’s great, fast service, thank you Springfield Armory.

I do not work for nor have any affiliation with Springfield, just a customer.

This has been my experience as well the few times I have dealt with SA customer service. I have heard many similar positive accounts from others too. Come to think of it, I can't remember any negative reviews dealing with their customer service team. One of the many reasons I am a Springer fan. I would put the mil-spec up against any 1911 in it's price range.
I know SA had a political blunder a while back, but they are far from the only manufacturer that has had bad publicity from doing something stupid. That said, SA was more apologetic than most for the blunder, and they have also done a ton to protect our rights. I completely understand those that won't go back to SA, and that is your right.

I guess we all make mistakes, I once voted for Tom Delay.
