Am I being a cheapskate for B-27 targets?

#1

Post by puma guy »

I was looking to buy some B-27 Targets and remembered that the Lighthouse for the Blind sold them. I went to their website and found 100 targets for $55 which seemed reasonable to me, however when I checked shipping for the targets it was over $24. I have an Amazon Prime account which has free shipping and 100 B-27 are 48¢ each and Amazon contributes a percentage to the NRA. I'd like to support the LHftB, but the shipping seems a little steep.

My primary business involves daily shipping. $24.00 for 100 targets is too much. Go with Amazon. I would say that it would probably cost me under $15.00 to ship those.

I don't do a lot of shipping. I have noticed that often the wording says, Shipping and Handling. I figure this explains why shipping seems so high. Handling charges.

I used to use LFTB but the shipping got me to. I went to Action Targets since I use their scenario targets in the School Safety class.

I noticed the same thing the last time I purchased B27s. I went with Amazon. If I decided to support them, I’d make a donation.

I use LHFTB... but I’m local so I just swing by and pick them up.

Purchase the targets from Amazon. If you are so inclined, make a donation to the LHFTB.
