Hill To Climb

#1

Post by longtooth »

Gentlemen & ladies, I have chosen this forum to post this in because my plan is to get the job done the first time & never again have to climb the hill I have before me this Thursday. I have never liked the idea of having to do a job the 2nd time to get it right. Especially this one.
About the end of July I found out that I have prostate cancer. For Prostate Cancer this one seems to be quit aggressive. Thursday they are going to go after it.
The Dr's quote is, "I wish we had some better numbers but these are the ones we have." So I will be off the board for a while. I will have this evening & maybe a little while tomorrow. They are going to have me pretty busy Wed. from about noon getting ready for Thursday morning.
Many of you know I play a guitar & really love my Lord's music. For those of you that are familiar w/ Southern & Country Gospel music. "I Am A Winner Either Way."
Will not have a report on getting all of it for about a week. Will let you know as soon as I get one. Thanking you in advance for your prayers for the Wife & my Mother. I know you will be praying for me.
I am in His Hands.
LT

My continued prayers for you my friend.

And I'll be dropping by to check on you this Saturday (you have no choice about it). Memorial, right?

I will talk to you soon, and be praying for you in the meantime.

If you haven't read it, "It's not about the bike" is supposed to be quite inspiring. It is the Lance Armstrong story about beating cancer. You can beat it - you will beat it. Just kick it freaking ass and take no prisoners!

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me
