I hope I am wrong but it is starting to look to me like the FBI agent is getting "special treatment"...
In my opinion he should have already been fired over this incident.

Saw on Fox that he is being allowed to carry again by the FBI. Can't find a reference to post.

If a "civilian" shot an innocent person, does anybody think they would be allowed to carry while charges are pending?

Is this a real question?

Unless the answer is yes, the FBI are outside the law and it's just and moral to treat them the same as other armed outlaws who shoot innocent people.

And four months later he finally gets in front of a judge ....
"Denver – An FBI agent who accidentally shot a man in the leg while dancing at a Denver nightspot pleaded not guilty to a second-degree assault charge Thursday but attorneys say a plea deal is still possible."

He plead guilty to 3rd-degree assault and will avoid jail time:

Bishop was initially charged with second-degree assault, a felony. In exchange for his guilty plea, Bishop will serve two years of unsupervised probation, the district attorney said.

He is now an ex-FBI agent.

2 years unsupervised probation. No mention of any fine, and the FBI is too embarrassed to say if they fired him or not. Maybe he can get a job as an unarmed security guard somewhere.

If this guy hadn't been a (former) government stooge, he'd have a felony record after this debacle.

Maybe I'm wrong, but a two year probation is a pretty good indication that he does have a felony record now.

Re-read the story, - An ex-FBI agent who accidentally shot and wounded a Denver bar patron in June after performing a dance-floor back flip pleaded guilty on Friday to misdemeanor assault under a plea deal that spares him from serving jail time, prosecutors said.
If it had been you or me, a deal like this wouldn't have been an option.
