It'll be interesting to see follow-up reports on this one. I figure the gun was probably loaded (as it should be), off SAFE (as it likely should NOT have been at the time) and something or someone engaged the trigger.

There is a reason for the "patrol ready" state. Sounds like a serious training deficiency.

No!....just an evil black gun. Most likely fired on it’s own.

Two LEO’s make the news for discharges. But no LTC news stories for discharges.
