The above link details how former LSU football player lost his leg.

That 12 gauge was powerful enough to penetrate the side of a pickup bed, hit his thigh, resulting in an amputation. Sheesh.

Yep, tragic. But preventable. Similar happened a few years back near Beaumont. Hunter took a goose load thru the tailgate. Hit femoral artery. He did not make it.
