Friend of mine works up his own 300 blk loads, some use a 220-230 grain bullet, can't remember off the top of my head, and I think he uses trail boss powder a lot for his heavy sub loads. Gives high volume without too much pressure.

I know he was using it for 308 subs but not sure on his 300 blk. I do remember he had to set the bullet way back in the case to get then to feed correctly due to the round fat nose on them.

Trying it out in a suppressed .308 is on the cards for later, yes - TB should do well in that :)

I have a Sig 716 and suppressor in 308 if you feel so inclined as to have someone test those rounds for you...

Once you find a solution, let me know what your cost breakdown is. Sub rounds in 308 might just be my breaking point to start reloading since they seem to be 1.50 a round and up...
