OK, someone use ENGLISH for the slower minded and explain how to post a long URL, but have it only read something like "Click Here."

Just a tip ... sorta for security
Because
Not every website or forum is so trustworthy

Hover before clicking
I always hover mouse over a link, and at the bottom of your browser it will show the true link

Example:
Clicking this, you'd think would take you to MSN
http://www.MSN.com

and clicking this you'd think would take you to TexasCHLForum
http://www.texaschlforum.com

common trick in e-MAILS TOO ... TO MAKE YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO YOUR BANK/CREDIT CARD'S WEBSITE ETC.

So, click with caution ;-)

Unfortunately the hover doesn't work with bitly and other tricks people use to disguise the true destination URL.

true, URL shorteners and redirects etc

Browsers can be set to warn of every redirect, I find it too irritating now though to get all the warnings.
