Merrick Garland Really?

It seems that Senator Cornyn voted for Merrick Garland as the New Attorney General, Does Cornyn really need to be our Senator? Time to find his replacement!

No surprise. The BeiDen administration has been talking about appointing him AG for a long time now. The surprise is Cornyn's vote. Either way, the BeiDen team is a juggernaut, and they’re going to get ALL of their appointments approved with a 50/50 Senate anyway. Maybe Cornyn figured that this was going to pass anyway, so he made a deal exchanging his vote for some future concessions.

Then he’s a bigger fool than he appears if he made any deals with the socialists believing they will keep their word.

Not justifying; just hypothesizing.

It's likely he decided to pick his fights. No sense in protesting just to score points if it makes his life harder. As a Republican Senate leader, he has to deal with the current administration. Poking them in the eye when it produces no useful result is simply bad policy.

He answers your questions? I've sent messages to both Cruz and Cornyn and didn't get anything back from either except for the autogenerated response that they received my messages.

yes both do, but they are not quick in any regards... Gooden is actually pretty quick , maybe hensarling gave him a few pointers. He was fast, as in under a week in most cases for letters and email and phone calls in a few days
