Rubio re-introduces red flag bill in Senate

Rubio first introduced the bill in March, but it did not pass. Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson also supported the bill. Nelson lost his re-election bid to outgoing Republican Gov. Rick Scott, who signed Florida’s measure into state law.
Maybe the HPA or National Reciprocity will be included as a compromise...

According to The Truth About Guns, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI), and Sen. Angus King (I-ME) are also supporting it.

But A+ rated by a national 2nd Amendment organization.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

We need a red flag bill for voting and, most of all, for "reporting". Jim Acosta and his ilk can do much more harm to the very foundation of our Republic than anyone could do with a gun.

If they want the ability to "red flag" law abiding gun owners, then I want to be able to "red flag" idiots who should not be voting, and commentators who are masquerading as journalists. How about we "red flag" folks who don't have a fundamental understanding of the history and purpose of our system of government. They then immediately lose the right to vote. They can get it back if they pass a test demonstrating a sufficient level of knowledge in the future.

I disagree, Rubio is a prime example of what the Republican party believes today. The conservatives who stuck to their principles instead of following the party's slide to the left are now Republicans in name only.

Why do you think a balanced budget, cuts to socialist programs, increased illegal immigration enforcement, and civil rights bills like national reciprocity and hearing act protection didn't pass when the Republican party held the Presidency and the majority in the House and Senate? It's simple. It's because those roll-backs are not desired by the progressive-lite party.
