Timeline manual submission

#1

Post by 16Adams »

my computer broke. actually it was a 2001 Windows XP and even updating to Chrome browser the DPS website would not let me advance with an unsupported browser. i may be off a day or two, but here goes my timeline

submitted printed application 11-03 by mail (typed and printed via computer)
then waited for response and checklist, arrived 11-24
completed checklist (training firearms qual release forms etc) mailed 11-24
letter from RSD Manager 12-14 that missing one item (it was in original packet)
submitted copy to manager 12-14
letter Dated 1-20 completed application received, in progress and may want to submit fingerprints(these were completed by L1 11-23)
1-21 called RSD- decided not to tell a long story just check status

RSD advised approved, sent to printer 1-21
called RSD again 1-25 they stated was in the mail allow 7-14 days

1-28 no LTC
1-29 mail runs around noon, most days

Congrats.

The mailing thing is apparently more complex than just dropping it in a box. Give until Monday before you begin to worry. Look for a rather plain window envelope.
