Mail timing question.

Hello,
Once your at “mailed” status, does the license get mailed standard mail or some sort of express mailing? I’m asking becauss some folks on here receive it just two days after mailed status. Sounds like priority or express mail.

My renewal/address changes were always standard mail.

I find that anything mailed by the state takes about a week and a half to arrive.

Got you. I guess some people aren’t really getting the plastic in hand 2 days after the stAtus shows “mailed”. What might be happening is the system isn’t updating the status on time and it was prob mailed before it shows. Hence why it comes fast for some folks.

How long did it take for you to get yours? DPS said they mailed mine on the 11th. Still haven't got it yet.

Two weeks seems excessive. Might give them a call tomorrow morning.
I called yesterday and they said it's in the post office's hands now. They also told me if I don't get it by October 11th, they'll have to reissue it.

Mine was same day, hand delivered.
