With 3 daughters, I figure he'd be spending all his weddin' money on guns!
I'm fortunate to have one of each...but there is just something between a daddy and his daughter(s). I can already tell, you are goinfg to be a wonderful Father. Congrats to both you and your wife!

Thanks y'all! I'm not sure what my gun buying money will look like beyond this year but I'm pretty sure the shotgun I wanted to buy this year is not going to happen now.

I have a daughter who is nearly 21. You have an interesting journey ahead. After you get through the teen years
and spending for college
you will wonder where the time went.
but you will have plenty of money for
when you aren't spending it on grand kids.

Hoping all is going well - we are in the midst of 15 and 20 with our daughters, and while they cause me and my hair dresser to have a great relationship, and their Daddy is getting too tall for his hair, we are blessed beyond what we deserve. Some days I can't wait until they fly the nest, but more often I want to frantically cling to them, they are fun!

In my mind things are going just fine. However, momma is worried. When she was pregnant with our twins she was feeling a lot of movement by now. This time with a singleton she isn't and it has worried that something is wrong. We're going in for the 20 week check-up on Tuesday (2/27). Less than two weels ago we saw a specialist and everything was fine. That was when we found we were having a 3rd girl. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one.

Praises for good outcome. Congratulations as well. I had three girls and still haven't got my head around that
especially since i had three brothers (one my twin). Your TP bill will be outrageous.

I will pray for you and your wife NOW because you have requested it, and again in about 10-12 yrs. because you will NEED it. (teen years).
Since your new 'blessing' is another girl...you are badly outnumbered in your household. I recommend you make use of the time you have (the next few years) to build two things:
1. An extra bathroom (there will NEVER be one available to you otherwise).
2. A reloading room (or similar Man Cave) that you can retreat to (for short periods) in order to regain your composure.
Best of luck to you.
Flint.

We have 5 kids (the middle one is the only boy) that are all grown now with kids of their own. I want to offer a couple of pieces of advice if I may:
(1) Enjoy them now because they grow up way too fast. Make memories that will last a lifetime. Pray togeather as a family and keep God in your house and in your hearts.
(2) You and your wife find time for yourselves, even if it's just a dinner out. A night or weekend away would be better from time to time if you have someone to watch the little ones.
And last but not least, congradulations

Fixed it for you.
Congratulations, Texanron. You are awash in a sea of estrogen........but that's a good thing if you have the right heart for it. Blessings on you and yours.

Thanks for the prayers and advice y'all. If/when we buy a home up here in PA I'll make sure there is a room that I can turn into a little get away place for me.

Yep. We'll be here for at least 2 years.
