Prayers For Me

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers For Me

#1

Post by carlson1 »

I have a long history of heart problems.

After battling all of the symptoms of heart attack for five days I went to the ER last night.

I was admitted to Baylor after church. They do have me resting, but I am worried about what we do from here.

Your prayers are coveted.

You and Mary will both be in our prayers.

Take good care of that ticker of yours. We old guys need to remember that the time to be tough and forget about chest pain is after the docs are working on us, not while we're putting treatment off because "it's probably nothing and will go away". We can avoid a lot of preventable damage that way and recover much more quickly when it turns out to be "something" after all.

Prayers morning, noon, and night. I've had some people close to me go through severe cardiac conditions; I don't want you to be one.

Please keep us informed. I'm sure tests are on the docket this morning to determine if you did in fact have an attack, and if cardiac tissue was damaged.
