Prayers Needed

Monday morning I will be admitted to the hospital for three days. I am having a pain pump trial. If things go well I will be having surgery in about two weeks.

Please pray that all will go well. I would also like you to pray for God to give me wisdom to make the right decision as to rather I should follow through with this and have the surgery.

I have read a lot of good testimonies about how the pump makes a big difference as far as the quality of life people have afterwards. I have also read plenty of testimonies of people who did not have good success and in fact has had a lot of bad side effects.

Father God we lift Brother Carl up to you for healing and for wisdom to make the right decisions. We also ask that you guide the doctors hands to a precision that only you can achieve. You know his needs and only you can answer them Father.
We also lift his family up for comfort in these trying times that they will face.

In situations like this, I always pray for the peace that passes all understanding. Nothing clarifies the issues and helps you make decisions more than the peace that only God can give. So I pray for that for you in this situation. Let not your heart be troubled. God is always with you, watching over you, and He will give you peace.

anyway....I have been and will be praying for you, pain is hard to live with, I pray the doctors find the right thing to help you.

Procedure was a success. I was of not long in recovery. I have been up walking three times today.

They are going to increase my medicine tonight. We fill be here until we decide it is going to work or fail. If it works I will be back in approximately two weeks for the surgery.

My wife is weary and I covet your prayers for her especially.
