West Houston Shooters Club 3 Gun Match Rule Changes

#1

Post by Bob Wolff »

Starting with the January 2022 match (2ndSaturday at ImpactZone)we will be swapping to the UML multigun Match Rules.
Why:
UML was first created with the desire to establish a unified set of safety rules, divisional guidelines, and fair scoring principles for multi-gunners nationwide to enjoy the sport with less confusion of what to expect at each venue. UML includes the expedition scoring system that works well on fast, tight stages normally inside an individual bay. The traditional scoring system handles scoring for the larger field type and open terrain matches.
The UML program allows us to accommodate shooters who want to shoot 3 Gun (pistol, rifle, shotgun), 2 Gun (pistol rifle/PCC) or PCC only – at every event. And it gives shooters more choice on how to shoot a stage.
Stages (Courses of Fire) can include the following parameters:
o Must use a minimum of 2 guns, engaging at least 3 targets with one gun.
o A designated gun only, i.e., pistol only
o PCC shooters will always shoot their PCC, no matter the course description

A .pdf with a condensed version of UML Divisions and a visual aid chart is attached. The complete rule set can be found here: http://ussleagues.com/uml-rules/

See you on the range,
NO matter how responsible he seems,
NEVER give your gun to a monkey.
