Yup, I have signed up. Have not shot since the last one. Anyone think practice is needed? Hoping nothing gets in my way to keep me from coming. sure enjoy these matches.

I've been trying to stop by and see how things work since last month. Once again I have something on Saturday that keeps me from going. Hopefully I can stop by next month, I'd like to give this a try and see how I do.

I compared my last month "Unclassified" results with the national Postal matches using the "Novice" classification... and my standings improved quite a bit. Seems to me that some of you that are shooting as "Unclassified" need to get ranked so I don't feel like such a terrible shooter when I look at the PSC only scores! :mrgreen:... just sayin!

The event registration on PSC's site says there are still 40 places bookable but it looks locked up, can't register.

I hope this is just a website problem. I've emailed Charles and I'll post if it gets fixed.

Hopefully see you guys tomorrow!

Edit: nevermind, I see the preregistration closes at 6am, I was thinking pm.

Can you post a link for the national Novice results ? Also, at the PSC, there are usually 6 stages, the proper way to compare is if the stages are the same ?

Bat,
You are exactly right, 4 of the 6 stages last month where "Postal Match" stages. These stages are designed by IDPA headquarters and published to all the clubs complete with instructions on how to set up and measurements on target placement and shooting locations. the results can be found on the IDPA website.

Hope this helps,

Kevin

BAT :headscratch
http://www.idpapostalmatch.com/home_fil ... -10-15.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://texasshooting.com/Joomla_PSC-IDP ... narios.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Using the scenarios from the match...
PSC Stage/Postal Stage
1/4
2/1
4/3
5/2
I just added up the scores from those four stages and compared the totals.

On another note, I was able to join PSC this past Sunday. I went this afternoon... and boy is my ammunition budget going to have to be increased!

Had a great time shooting last weekend.

Those postal scores are humbling to say the least. :lol:
