Any Hoston area IPSC/IDPA match on 1/20 or 1/21 ?

Again, this year, I'm planning to attend the HGCA gun show in
Houston. I'd like to know if there's any IPSC/IDPA match going
on in/around Houston at one of those dates so that I might also
attend a quick match too.

I'm gathering money right now and have a couple of things on
my shopping list :)

The Texas Defensive Pistol Safety Association (http://www.tdpsa.org/) has a regularly scheduled match starting at 9:00 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month. I've never shot with them, but you can drop an email to info@tdpsa.org to confirm if they'll have a match on the 20th.

They shoot at Eagle Lake, and that's not going to be very close to the gun show at Reliant Center: about 55 miles as the crow flies; over 60 over the roads, and depending on the route you choose up 28 miles of that is non-freeway.

If you're planning to still be in town that Monday, Eastex Tactical IDPA (http://www.eastextactical.com/) shoots every Monday evening at 6:15 at the 59 Gun Range. And that would be a much easier drive of about 15 miles of freeway...albeit fighting Houston rush-hour traffic.
