Betcha her dad doesn't have to have "the talk" with any prospective boyfriends :thumbs2:

This is awesome to see a young lady this dedicated and talented - that's a full-auto carbine and a 12 gauge shotgun!

Is this some kind of competition? How does a 13 year old get these skills? Just taught by family? NRA courses? Please educate someone new to this!!!

It's the fallen brethren 3 gun competition here in the good ol' state of Texas. She has been shooting since she was 5 or 6. For someone who only missed 2 shots, I think she did pretty damn good.

This isn't your standard 3-gun match, though, with a full auto rifle, is it?

If you have never done anything like that, you should take a look at getting started with IDPA and/or USPSA. Both sports started with pistols, which are a lot of fun, but have since grown to include 3-gun matches.

The future's so bright, you're gonna need shooting glasses...to misquote an old song.
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)

Wow - Attagirl!

My 12 and 16 year old Granddaughters are good shots with rifle and pistol, but have a way to go to match this incredibly talented girl.

I'm not surprised. Shooting is a skill that depends more on dexterity, vision, and hand-eye coordination than strength.

I caught that, but why is that allowed at this event? I thought the firing of a full auto was highly restricted. I hope that is a special event because, if not, I don't have the right kind of rifle for 3-gun then.
