Hi gang,

New guy in Austin here. Found this board as a link from KR Training site and I've been reading it from top to bottom for the last few evenings. Tons of valuable information and experience here!

I've only had long guns in the past but started shooting rentals at Red's north about a year and a half ago along with some private lessons. I picked up an HK P2000SK about a month ago and I'm doing CHL class this Sat.

Yeppers, the education you can get here just by reading is invaluable. You definitely have an edge on other people in your class by reading these posts.

N. Texas LTC's hold 3 breakfasts each month. All are 800 AM. OC is fine.
2nd Saturdays: Rudy's BBQ, N. Dallas Pkwy, N.bound, N. of Main St., Frisco.
3rd Saturdays: Golden Corral, 465 E. I-20, Collins St exit, Arlington.
4th Saturdays: Sunny St. Cafe, off I-20, Exit 415, Mikus Rd, Willow Park.
