Michael Garfield Show Houston

Post by dicion »

Hey all, just wondering if anyone was listening to the show when I called in and set the facts straight about some of the questions.

They were having a discussion about CHL following the Shooting at UT this morning, and of course, half the people that called in didn't know certain details, and gave a lot of 'I think..' and 'I'm not sure but...' So of course I had to call in and throw in some facts! :thumbs2:

Had to fix the 'one drink' misconception, as well as whether or not you could carry on a school premises. Also that there's no drug test involved, but detailed the Background checks.

Also plugged the forums, we'll see if we get some new members asking questions :thumbs2:

I find Garf to be painful to listen to. Too many words! It's like listening to Alvin & the Chipmunks on speed.

Like I always say about the ladies... they never use 3 words when 3,000 will do.

Do not live in that area any longer so don't listen as much as
once upon a time.
Thanks for jumping in and making corrections or just giving correct information.
Thanks.

Well, I was flipping through channels, trying to find some discussion of the Shooting on UT while I was driving to the doctor's office.

His show was the first 'hit' I came across, and as soon as they started talking CHL, you know I wasn't going anywhere :thumbs2:

Looks like it's going to be posted to their podcast page soon.

I'll download it, cut it up, and post a link to it here, and we can all chastise me for any mistakes I made and for generally sounding like an idiot :smilelol5:

It's hard to rattle off facts like that while driving down the highway, and not having the ability to look it up to be 100% sure like you can on a forums XD

Alright, it's Up:

If you go to that page, and download the "Michael Garfield, 9-28-10, 11am" Cast

I come on at 30:50. Although I invite everyone to listen to the whole thing about CHL, and Campus Carry

In my experience the ladies simply use those laser-eyes that they are so fond of...
