Grapevine Vintage Railroad

#1

Post by Johnny Polite » Sat Apr 02, 2011 11:44 am

My son has been invited to a birthday party at the Grapevine vintage railroad to ride the Thomas train.
Am I allowed to carry there?
Quick responses would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Just got back from Thomas. No signs and had no issues. I carried my M&P. 45c

So what’d you find out?

That response was from 2011, was hoping for an “update” of sorts.

The kids had fun. The train was pretty neat. But they had sing along and clap along songs the entire ride and it was on really high volume. I was ready to bash my head against the wall. It was a 25 minute train ride. I didn’t see any signs at the entrance at the loading dock on on the entrance to the train. It was held outdoors on a public street. My concern was the actual train ride.
The kids had a blast but I feel it was overpriced for what it was

I carried away and saw no signs anywhere.

:smilelol5: :smash: I know what you mean about the head bashing! But it wasn't so bad as that 6 years ago. We took our grandson there 3 years in a row. He had a great time. Mrs. joe817 had a great time. Joe817 endured the ordeal 'for the family'. Seriously though, I enjoyed the train ride, and the exhibits were fascinating for the little one. He didn't want to leave. We had to bribe him with Braum's ice cream for him to leave peacefully.
