It's in the act; Handgun Licence.

In reality, I suspect CHL will live on for a while as people get used to it and I think THL might well become the preferred acronym, just because only two letters will feel wrong after all these years of three for CHL.

Some of us old farts will probably never change. To me, committees still have chairmen regardless of gender, not chairpersons. In fact, I rather enjoy watching people squirm when I say "madam chairman."

The sad thing is, there are people in the open carry camp who will take that literally, especially if OC fails to pass.
