Ltc question
So about a year ago I went forward on taking the chl/ltc required course and I never got around to sending it off.. What's the required time before having to retake the course?

Re: Ltc question
2 years, but if you have already started the application with DPS, that times out at 1 year. In that case, you would have to pay again, but your LTC-100 is good for 2 years.

Re: Ltc question
Unfortunately, it looks like they amended the Admin Code in Jan 2018. The LTC-100 is now only valid for 1 year.

Re: Ltc question
That's quite possible. I was looking at the adopted & amended dates at the bottom of the rule. That subsection was adopted on March 15, 2017, then amended on January 11, 2018. I figured that since there was no mention of the change during the LTC Instructor Renewal Class in late 2017 that it was part of the 2018 amendment. That's what I get for 'assuming'....lonestar144 wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 9:18 pm Dunno, but I think it was amended earlier than that. In Sept of 2017, when I took my LTC course, the expiration of the LTC-100 was one year then.
ETA: And that's also the power of collaboration on a forum like this one. Sans this forum, I wouldn't have known of the change at all without reading the entire Admin Code prior to each class to scrub for any changes.
