Speaking as one of the proverbial lapsed irish Catholics, I find this statement droll given the primacy of the cross as an icon of catholicism, and the number of people who perished while hanging from one. You have multiple crosses present in every church, but you're worried about my EDC. Pot calling the kettle black........According to the Diocese:
The purpose of Catholic facilities is to serve human life in all its stages from conception to natural death. The presence of any weapon which could cause physical harm would be incompatible with this purpose.
Not to mention the inquisitions, witch trials, and millions of people being jailed, tortured, and killed for heresy and other sins.JustSomeOldGuy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 12:26 pmSpeaking as one of the proverbial lapsed irish Catholics, I find this statement droll given the primacy of the cross as an icon of catholicism, and the number of people who perished while hanging from one.
