How to switch from Texas Non-resident LTC to Resident
Hello All! I’ve finally relocated to Texas from California. I started my Texas LTC process online and just finished LTC course, next is fingerprinting and then mailing my two passport photos to Texas DPS. My question is once I finally receive my Texas ID(in line at DMV now) how do I update and switch my status to resident? I already use my Texas address for mailing.

I don't have an answer for you, but want to welcome you to Texas.

Send them a copy of your Texas DL, even if just the paper temporary one in with your other items. Or just call and let them know you recently got a Texas DL.

Not 100% clear on this. Did you use your CA drivers license but your Texas mailing address for the license? They should match your CA DL address on the LTC.
No matter, if it does not show your Texas address and DL number when you get it, go to this link https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/, fill out the info for a change of address to Texas and pay your $25. It will then become a resident LTC
