Several of the mini-clinics at the 2008 TexasCHLforum Day at PSC on Saturday, Sept. 27th are full, but there are slots still open. If you haven't registered yet, be sure to do so soon and check the schedule first to see what mini-clinics are still open. You can check the schedule at http://www.texasshooting.com/index.php? ... &Itemid=40. The numbers in the upper left side of each block indicate the number of open slots. Here is a summary of available slots in the mini-clinics as of the date and time of this post:

Mini-Clinics:
  • Malfunction Drills - 6
    Retention shooting & Withdrawal - 5
Purses & Fanny Packs (drawing from) - 13
    Speed Reloading of Semi-Autos - 9
    Drawing & Engaging - 3
    Cover & Concealment (Proper use) - 3
Descriptions of the topics covered in each mini-clinic can be found at http://www.texasshooting.com/index.php? ... &Itemid=38

Clinics: (Plenty of room in these seminars)
  • Christians, Weapons & Self-Defense
Training Opportunities (overview of what's available)
TABC (Discussion of issues relevant to CHLs)
Awareness (Tips on missing the gun fight!)
    Ladies Issues
In addition to the mini-clinics and seminars, there are opportunities for shooting all day, if you like. The Texas Stars, Find the Gun for You, and the plate rack are not subject to limits as are the clinics, so you will be able to burn up all the ammo you like!

Lunch is included in the $20 fee and we will have the "CHL Fashion Show" during the lunch break. This will be an opportunity to see several different types of holsters and methods of concealment and ask questions about what works and what doesn't.
