Breakfast meetup in Kerrville?

#1

Post by Ruark »

Just wondering if we can try again.... have a meetup at Hill Country Cafe in Kerrville. It's a smallish mom and pop cafe that welcomes open carriers, great standard Texas breakfast fare. Biscuits/gravy, pancakes/eggs/bacon/sausage/omelets/hashbrowns, etc. I'm thinking some Saturday morning in January.

I'm listening. Kerrville is a bit of a haul for me, but Gibson's hardware + A breakfast meetup may just be worth it.

Actually, I'm just outside of Comfort, but there's no feasible place to eat there.

An alternate place to eat in Kerrville is Acapulco, on Sydney Baker (the main street going through town). GREAT place, big truck stop style breakfast, bright and colorful and roomy. Or maybe do lunch there instead of breakfast... https://www.acapulcomexicankerrville.com/menu

Lunch would be easier for me. I wouldn't have to get up at 5:00 to make it in time

Hill Country Cafe. One o’ my favorite places. Do you know that the H•E•B empire was launched there? Started out as a Mom ‘n’ Pop grocery in that same space.

I can be there.

Well, keep it all in mind, we can decide after the holidays. I'm flexible, but I'm personally leaning more towards lunch at Acapulco.
