you are probably right because that makes the most sense, but that's all the more reason we need to take the congress out of democrat party control. That said... as awful as it would be I still would take Nancy over Joe or Kamala. I can at least hope that if she were no longer speaker of the house that at least she would hopefully be not beholden to the socialist wing of the party. But God help us all, (and I mean that as a prayer), President Harris is going to happen and she will almost definitely serve out the remainder of Joe Biden's term.

A Fromer Navy Seal was on the radio and said this plan isn’t working. He suggested a new plan. Retake all the air bases and begin getting our people out. He said that there were reports of the Taliban troops massing. He thought that this was a good development over hiding amount the civilians.

He expected Xiden to not take this approach and instead to pay ransoms after the 31st.
I suspect he will just ignore them like He and Obama did with the college kid in North Korea.

I agree. My plan is to get the 82nd Airborne on the move now (the division is ready to respond anywhere in the world in 18 hours) and tell them secure the Kabul airport. Then have every other infantry and armored division we have, including Marine divisions start landing within 12 hours after the 82nd. The order for all of them is to spread out and secure the Afghani borders within 48 hours. AS they do that, they start searching for three things: any taliban members (surrender or die), any American equipment left behind (recover or destroy it), and any person who wants to leave that country that is not part of the first group (escort them to the airport and out of there).

Then we do a planned withdrawal, leaving nothing behind us but tracks, and tell the exiled Afghan President, it is his country and we will never be back.

The purpose of this is twofold. First I want revenge on the taliban for killing American troops today. Second, I want to put the rest of the world on notice to not wake the sleeping giant. America is a powerful giant that is cranky when woken.
